Solar panel installation in Northamptonshire
Solar designed around your roof and your usage, installed, tested and certified by qualified electricians based near Northampton.
Solar designed around your roof, not a kit
Take control of your energy bills and cut your carbon footprint with a solar system designed for your property. We don't do one-size-fits-all kits. Every system is engineered to get the most out of your roof and is properly integrated into your electrics, with full testing and certification.
- Custom solar PV installations. Complete design and installation, from standard pitched roofs to complex flat-roof layouts using ballasted mounting systems for a secure, weatherproof setup.
- Commissioning & safety testing. Every array and inverter is inspected and tested by a City & Guilds 2391-52 qualified electrician, and you get a full Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC).
- Maintenance, diagnostics & warranty support. Solar not performing? We do fault finding, inverter diagnostics and routine maintenance, and can manage warranty claims and module replacements with the wholesaler for you.
Kit we fit: all major panel brands, including AIKO, JA Solar, Eurener and DMEGC, with Fox ESS, SolaX, Growatt and Sigenergy inverters, on Fastensol, Renusol or Van der Valk mounting systems.
Common questions
Do I need planning permission for solar panels?
Most roof-mounted solar on houses in England is permitted development, so no planning application is needed. Listed buildings, conservation areas and some flats are exceptions, and we'll flag it if that applies to you.
How long does a solar installation take?
Most home installations take one to two days once the scaffolding is up.
Does my roof need to face south?
No. South-facing roofs generate the most, but east and west roofs still work well and spread your generation across the day. We design the system around your roof.
Do you deal with the network operator?
Yes. We handle the notification to your local network operator (DNO), and you get full commissioning and electrical certificates when we finish.
